Join us this week as we celebrate our Mothers in Llantwit Major.
The fourth Sunday in Lent is observed as Mothering Sunday. Traditionally, parishioners would come to their Mother church during lent, which became a time for families to be reunited. Over time, the tradition of giving domestic workers time off to return to their families became connected with this Sunday. Today, we join together in Llantwit Major to thank God for our mothers, and to give and receive flowers.
