Just prior to Christmas we were pleased to host a visit from a class of Year 5 pupils of All Saints Church in Wales Primary School in Barry. The visit was coordinated as a trial run of the activities that we are currently developing for teachers so that they can make the most of what our church has to offer. Despite the inclement weather the visit was a great success and we are very grateful for the kind support of the headteacher, Clare Lewis and Deputy Head, Aled Williams who very kindly put together the video record of the day.

Since the trial run the resources have been tweaked and last weekend a session to introduce them to our church Welcomers was held. We will be launching our ‘In Search of Llanilltud’ Teachers’ Resource Pack at a Teachers’ Twilight Session in March and we hope to host our first schools visits during the Summer Term.
