Mothers' Union
Llantwit Major's branch of the world-wide movement.
Mothers’ Union is a global Christian movement working since 1876 with people of all faiths and none to develop communities, strengthen families and advocate for change.
Around the world our 4 million members are active in 84 countries and work tirelessly to serve their communities whilst offering Christian care for families, regardless of faith or background.
Ending violence, ending poverty, ending injustice. We are a truly worldwide Christian movement.
The St. Illtud's branch of the MU is part of the Llandaff Diocesan Mothers' Union.

May Deanery Festival Service
Our Deanery Festival is at St Brides Major at 2.30pm. If you would like to go and are in need of a lift please let us know, also if you are able to offer a lift to others please let us know so that we can ensure that everyone who wishes to attend is able to.
June Meeting
We will be meeting in St Illtud's at 2.00pm. Following a short act of worship there will be a choice of a short local walk (thanks to Philip and Sheila Morris) , a quiz (or two), and we will also be carrying out a survey of the wild flowers in the churchyard again.
Tiny Treasure Seekers
MU Members are helping to support St Illtud's work with children. If you are able to help with our commitment to support Tiny Treasure Seekers by serving refreshments and chatting to Mums and Carers, please ask about how you can become involved.
Food Bank
We are supporting our local Food Bank especially with toiletries (for children, men and women) and sanitary products. These can be brought to church at any time and placed in the Food Bank boxes. Obviously all our gifts to the foodbank are very welcome but these particular items are much needed.
Behind Closed Doors Exhibition and our July Meeting
This exhibition about Domestic Violence will be in St Illtuds during the first two weeks of July and our speaker at our July meeting will be Sue Rivers our Diocesan President who was instrumental in putting this exhibition together.
