The Maintenance Team

If you have an interest in the upkeep and smooth running of the church building,this is the team for you.

St. Illtud's is a large, grade 1 listed building with lots of ongoing maintenance issues. As you can imagine, there are many jobs that have to be carried out on a regular basis. 

We would love you to join the recently formed Maintenance Team which currently  comprises four members (from the congregation and the local community) including a churchwarden.

The team do not normally undertake the work themselves but ensure that appropriate persons and contractors are engaged.

 

The team meets once a month to go through the National Churches’ Trust monthly checklist of annual maintenance jobs, as well as addressing any other issues that may have arisen since the previous meeting.

Having an established maintenance team is a National Lottery Heritage Fund requirement.
