The Eco Church Team

Do you have an interest in how we, as a church family, can tread more lightly on God’s earth?

We are excited to share that we are embarking on the Eco Church journey!

This is a practical, faith-driven initiative designed to help us look at how we care for the environment across all areas of our church life—from the energy we use in our building and the wildlife in our churchyard, to our lifestyle choices and global impact.

To make this happen, we have formed a small, friendly team of people (including members from the church family and the wider community) to help steer the journey. We're on the map but we haven't yet achieved Bronze Award status. We'd love you to help us to get there.

You do not need to be an environmental expert to join us.
We are looking for individuals with all kinds of everyday gifts and interests:

Love the outdoors? Help us look at how we can encourage biodiversity on our church land.

Good with numbers or practical fixes? Help us track our energy efficiency and find ways to reduce our carbon footprint.

Enjoy writing or chatting? Help us share updates, eco-tips, or help organize a green coffee morning.

Passionate about prayer? Help us integrate creation care into our worship and community life.

Whether you can commit to a regular meeting or just want to help out with a single, specific project, your time and talents are incredibly welcome.
