Come on a walk to spot the High Brown Fritillary

Butterfly 2

Did you know that this extremely rare butterfly can be found in our Ministry Area - in St Bride's Major?

How absolutely amazing is that! It's only found in THREE places in the UK, and ONE of those places is in Wales, and that's in OUR Ministry Area

We're coming into the High Brown Fritillary flight season (June and July) and the folowing public walks are being planned by the amazing Dot Williams (High Brown Fritillary Project Officer):

  • Saturday mornings: 13th and 20th June starting at 10.30am,
  • Sunday afternoons 5th and 12th July starting at 2pm.

All the walks start from the cattle grid at the edge of St Brides Major What3Words: ///amuse.fans.fears and usually take about 2 hours.
Please come on the walks and support this beautiful butterfly.
